INSTITUTE FOR THE STUDY OF

A  COURSE IMIRACLES

ACIM@ACIM.name

Founded in 2006 by a clinical psychologist, the mission of the Institute For The Study Of A Course In Miracles is three-fold:

1.Explore A Course In Miracles from the dogma-free, non-sectarian perspective outlined here,

2.Investigate issues of practical application: the impact of the Course upon individuals’ psychological development and day-to-day relationships.

3.Examine the Course in light of those traditions that reflect the philosophia perennis or perennial wisdom, i.e., Sufism, Kabbalah, the three shcools of Buddhism: Theravada, Mahayana and Vajrayana, Advaita Vedanta, Taoism, Shamanism and Stoicism among others.

The Institute has two components, teaching and investigative study. The teaching component focuses upon issues of practice. The investigative component––studies by psychologists, psychiatrists, spiritual teachers and independent scholars––address elements of our three-fold mission and are published online at www.acim.name.
